I will vigorously pursue and support legislation and funding for the roads that we desperately need in Utah County. I will also do all in my power to protect existing funds that have been set aside for transportation, like the CHF fund, from being raided for other purposes.

The problems we are seeing in transportation have been created over a long period of time. Unfortunately, the enormous growth we are now experiencing was evidently not foreseen ten or twenty years ago when the decision to build new roads in Utah County would have been most helpful. Now we are playing "catch-up". The transportation problem in this county may get worse before it gets better, as it takes years for new road projects to be approved, funded, and built.
