Utah Representative Lorie Fowlke

I believe that Utah County is an area of largely untapped economic resources. We have an educated work force with a good work ethic. Because of their desire to live in this area, many people are willing to work for less than they might earn on the east or west coast. A few companies have begun to realize the potential of this work force and capitalize on it. I will promote and encourage legislation that will bring employers here that are willing to provide satisfying work and wages that can support a family. This may involve more marketing of our area and possibly tax incentives, but the growth of clean industry and meaningful employment would be worth the effort.
